"I just started the book Kindred by Octavia Butler and so far its pretty good. Kindred is the story of a black woman in the 1970s who suddenly gets transported back in time to the antebellum South on multiple occasions to save the life of a young white boy whose parents are plantation owners. It's an interesting concept and I'm intrigued to see what will happen to her as she continues to be sent back to help the boy.
